New Straitsville In the News

NEW STRAITSVILLE — On Feb. 8, the New Straitsville Food Pantry opened its doors to the public for the first time. They’re a nonprofit food pantry open every Thursday from 4-7 p.m., and welcome anyone in the county and the surrounding area (Hocking, etc.), given the appropriate need.

The food pantry is at 101 Clark Street in New Straitsville, in the basement of the New Straitsville Methodist Church. For more information, you may call their number at 740-538-3052, email them at newstraitsvillefoodpantry@yahoo.com, or message their Facebook page at New Straitsville Food Pantry. They are accepting all donations and are looking for sponsors. Because the organization is a 501©(3), these donations may count as tax write-offs. Volunteers are also welcome and encouraged to contact them.
